Body Found In Moorhead Arson Case ID'd

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The body found last Wednesday after a Moorhead house fire has been identified as a 49-year-old woman.

The Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office says the remains of Melissa Jayne Willcoxon were found by firefighters in a home on the 1000 block of 11th Avenue South.

Investigators believe the fire was arson. Justin Marshal Critt, 38, is in custody in connection with the case and for an unrelated felony warrant for robbery.

Moorhead police, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the State Fire Marshal's Office are still investigating.
