Moore, Augustus Voted Starters For WNBA All-Star Game

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The WNBA All-Star Game is set for July 25 in Connecticut, and the Minnesota Lynx will have two players starting for the Western Conference squad.

League officials announced Tuesday that forward Maya Moore and guard Seimone Augustus have been voted in by fans to be starters. Moore ranked third in the WNBA All-Star voting. It'll be Moore's fourth career start and the second for Augustus.

Moore is averaging 18.3 points, 7.1 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game for the Lynx this season. She's third in the WNBA in scoring and fourth in steals.

Augustus is averaging 114.9 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game for the Lynx. She's ninth in the league in scoring and is a co-leader in the league, shooting 100 percent from the free-throw line.

The WNBA All-Star Game will be at 2:30 p.m. on July 25, in Connecticut.
