Police, Firefighters Work Together To Rescue Dog From River

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police and firefighters in western Minnesota teamed up Saturday evening to rescue a dog from a river.

The Montevideo Police Department was notified around 5 p.m. of a dog stuck in the river.

Officers could not reach the dog, so they called the Montevideo Fire Department. Firefighters brought their cold water rescue equipment and pulled the dog to safety. The dog was then reunited with his owner.
