Monday's Humidity Will Make It Feel Like 100 Degrees Outside
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The dog days of summer have arrived in Minnesota, as Monday's sunny skies and high humidity will magnify the heat.
Meteorologist Lauren Casey says temperatures will reach 90, but it'll feel close to 100 in parts of southern Minnesota, including the Twin Cities.

The day will be mostly sunny, although southern Minnesota will see a few clouds.
The humidity is expected to linger into the evening, and storms will move into the state overnight.
By Tuesday morning, Minnesotans could wake up to severe storms, and they'll likely experience another steamy day.
The rest of the week, on the other hand, looks to have cooler temperatures and less humidity.
Staying Cool
In Minneapolis, parents and babysitters took kids to public pools, like Wabun pool in Minnehaha Park.
Many were poolside at 10 a.m., and they looked to stay by the water all day.
Keeping hydrated is a priority. The Hennepin County Medical Center says it's seen 25 patients this summer with heat-related illnesses.
Of that number, seven suffered heat exhaustion and six were diagnosed with heat strokes.
Doctors say people should pay attention to the warning signs of overheating: confusion, sweating, quicker heart rate ,and faster breathing.
