MNsure Enrollment Deadline Fast Approaches

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- MNsure is making a final push to sign up Minnesotans for health care before Sunday's enrollment deadline.

More than 60,000 Minnesotans are still without coverage.

This year, there's a tax penalty for people who don't get insurance under the new federal health care law.

If you're not covered, the minimum fine is $95 per person and $47.50 for a child.

Next year, it goes up even more.

MNsure has extended its hours Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. until midnight to help get people enrolled.
