Sec. Of State: Minn. May Lead Nation In Voter Turnout

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Numbers out Wednesday show Minnesotans headed to the polls in big numbers.

Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon says turnout was 74 percent, which is a little lower than the past three presidential elections.

Simon says that should still be among the top in the nation.

Minnesota turnout was 76.4 percent in 2012, and 78 percent in 2008.
