Mississippi River Ice Jams Result In Elk River Road Closures

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - Roads are closed in Elk River due to ice jams on the Mississippi River.

On Wednesday, Elk River City Government implemented road closures between Bailey Point Nature Reserve and the boat launch area of Babcock Memorial Rest Area. The area, between 1 Morton Ave and 17900 Highway 10, will be closed until further notice.
