Missing West St. Paul Man Found Safe

Update: The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says Dale Edward Patrick was found safe Thursday in St. Paul.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Minnesota BCA and West St. Paul Police are seeking the public's help in locating a missing man.

Dale Edward Patrick, 67, was last seen at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday leaving his residence in West St. Paul. He was wearing a camouflage hat with a Remington logo, dirty blue jeans, an oversized white T-shirt and a camouflage sweatshirt.

Authorities said he usually takes walks across the town, chatting with people and sometimes flashing his money to strangers.

Police said he also may raise his finger and make gun gestures.

They are concerned for his safety as he has advanced dementia and untreated diabetes.

Patrick weighs roughly 180 pounds and is 5'7" with gray balding hair, full gray beard and brown eyes.
