Crews Recover Body From Crow River After Tubing Incident

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Crews pulled a man's body from the Crow River Saturday night after a tubing incident near St. Michael.

Officials say 64-year-old Andrew Urbanski of Maplewood was tubing with two friends when his tube hit a tree and flipped.

Deputies responded near the 11000 block of 36th Circle Northeast just after 5 p.m. The Wright County Sheriff's Office and assisting agencies searched the water, while the Minnesota State Patrol assisted the search from the air. After several hours, authorities recovered Urbanski's body from the river.

The investigation is active. No additional information is available at this time.
