Missing 18-year-old woman last seen in Dinkytown found safe, police say
UPDATE: Police say Sophie Gant was found safe Sunday. What follows is a revised version of the original story.
MINNEAPOLIS – University of Minnesota police say an 18-year-old woman who was reported missing has been found safe.
Sophie Gant was last seen Friday near the intersection of University Avenue and 15th Avenue Southeast in Minneapolis' Dinkytown district.
UMPD announced Sunday evening that they made contact with her.
