Police: Missing Maplewood Woman Found Safe

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities say a 21-year-old Maplewood woman who went missing last week was found safe on Sunday.

Elena Richter had last been seen at her residence at about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday and when her parents went to check on her, she was gone. She hadn't been seen or heard from since.

Police say she is a vulnerable adult and her family was concerned for her safety.

Maplewood police canceled the missing person report for Richter on Sunday and said she was found safe.
