MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minnesota sophomore forward Hannah Brandt is among three finalists for the 2014 Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award.

Brandt joins Clarkson senior forward Jamie Lee Rattray and Cornell junior forward Jillian Saulnier as finalists for the top honor in college women's hockey.

Brandt leads the nation in points (61), assists (40) and assists per game (1.11).

The sophomore from Vadnais Heights also was a top 10 finalist for the Patty Kazmaier Award in 2013 and was the lone repeat honoree among this year's top 10 finalists.

Gophers junior forward Rachael Bona of Coon Rapids also was a top 10 finalist for this year's award.

USA Hockey announced the top three finalists Thursday. The award will be presented March 22 during the NCAA Women's Frozen Four weekend.
