Minnesotan Man Pleads Guilty To Bank Robbery In Fargo

FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A Minnesota man has pleaded guilty in federal court to robbing a Fargo bank in April.

Authorities say Jeremy Fahleen, of Litchfield, Minnesota, entered the Gate City Bank and handed a clerk a threatening note demanding money. Fahleen fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was arrested the next day in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

Sentencing for the 34-year-old Fahleen is set for Feb. 25. He faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison. Prosecutors are asking that he pay back about $4,000 that was not recovered from the robbery.

A federal public defender could not be reached for comment.
