Minnesotan Among Cast Members On New Season Of 'Survivor'

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A Minneapolis man is among the cast of the latest season of CBS' "Survivor."

The next season of the reality show takes place on Cambodian island Kaoh Rong. The theme is Brains vs. Beauty vs. Brawns.

As an ER doctor, Dr. Peter Baggenstos, 34, has been placed on the brains team, but he says he's got much more to offer.

"I'm the best person out here to get the million for numerous reasons -- I'm an athletic threat, I'm educated, I can do a puzzle better than anyone else out there, I've got a good sense of self, but I also have a slightly inflated ego and narcisism," he said.

Baggenstos described himself as "eclectic, tenacious and shameless."

When asked why he would win he said, "I have an uncanny knack for getting a group of people to back me up. I can immediately turn around and blindside them. I can have a pointless conversation with someone and make them feel important."

The next season begins on Wednesday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. on WCCO.
