What Will Minnesota Women's Soccer's Official Name Be?

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A new pre-professional women's soccer team coming to Minnesota has narrowed its list of potential names to just three.

The team, which is community-owned, held a presentation for owners Tuesday night, during which they presented the final three options: Arctic, Aurora and Foxfire.

Owners will now vote on the name, and the official branding will be revealed in January.

The team will join the USL W League next year.
