Minnesota Wild Tickets Go On Sale

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – For sports fans, Saturday in September usually means college football, but Saturday, Sept. 20 is also a big day for hockey fans.

Regular season tickets went on sale Saturday morning at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn.

Tickets start at $32, but it depends on the game.

The team uses demand-based pricing.

Things like rivalry games, good teams and superstar players can all have an impact on ticket prices.

But none of that mattered to the fans who waited in line just to get their hands on the first few tickets.

The Wild's first home pre-season game is next Saturday night.

Then on Oct. 9 they open the season at home against the Colorado Avalanche, the team they beat in the playoffs last season.
