Wild Hosts State Of Hockey Food Drive

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Every years since 2000, the Minnesota Wild has hosted an annual food drive. This year, they are turning it into a state wide initiative.

For the State of Hockey Food Drive, the Minnesota Wild is asking all fans attending the Wednesday night game to bring a non-perishable food item to donate.

In addition to Wednesday night's games, hockey fans can donate items at any of 22 statewide tournaments over the Thanksgiving holiday.

All the donations will go to Second Harvest Heartland.

For more information, or to offer a monetary donation, visit the Minnesota Wild online.
