Weeklong warm-up begins Monday in Minnesota
Monday kicks off a weeklong warm-up in Minnesota.
The Twin Cities will stay mild Monday night, with temperatures only falling back to around freezing. The clouds will remain, and any light precipitation looks to remain across southern Minnesota.
The metro will get the sunshine back Tuesday, with temps warming to the upper 40s in the afternoon hours.
Wednesday's highs will warm into the low 50s, and into the mid-50s Thursday. It stays warm enough Friday that the metro will have rain in the forecast. Some models are bringing a chance of snow at the tail end of this system into Saturday morning.
It will feel toasty this weekend with parts of the state possibly hitting 60 degrees, but temps will fall again early next week.
