Overnight snow possible in southern Minnesota ahead of Thursday warmup
A few scattered flurries are possible overnight Thursday in parts of the Twin Cities, with a better chance farther north.
The metro will get plenty of sunshine Thursday with temperatures warming to near 40 degrees — about 7 degrees warmer than average.
Friday will be even warmer with more clouds and a bit of a breeze. Expect highs to climb to the mid 40s.
The metro cools again for the weekend. Parts of southern Minnesota will get snow early on Saturday. Highs will be stuck in the low-to-mid 20s.
Temps will warm back into the 30s for Monday and Tuesday, with more snow possible on Tuesday.
