Minnesota starts slow cooldown Wednesday with rain, possible T-storms

Tuesday's summery heat is on its way out in Minnesota, but highs will remain above average on Wednesday with humidity to boot.

Showers and possible thunderstorms arrive in the Twin Cities by late Wednesday afternoon, but it won't be a washout and no severe conditions are expected.

The chance of scattered showers continues Friday and Saturday as well, bringing cooler temps. Sunday will be the nicer weekend day.

Highs will stay in the 70s into next week, and expect a warmer-than-average second half of the month.
