Quiet, cold weekend ahead for Twin Cities

Saturday and Sunday will be cold across Minnesota, but temperatures will rebound next week.

It will be cloudy in the Twin Cities on Saturday with a high temperature of around 23 degrees.

There may be a few glimmers of sunshine on Sunday, though it will be windy. The high temperature is expected to be 20 degrees, though the gusts will make it feel like the single digits.

On Monday, temperatures will jump back to the 30s under mostly clear skies. The warming will continue on Tuesday, with a possible climb into the 40s.  

There are a few systems of precipitation that could move through the state between Tuesday and Thursday.
