Cooler Tuesday in Twin Cities, with more rounds of snow ahead
MINNEAPOLIS — After the Twin Cities were treated to the first substantial snowfall of 2025, Monday evening will be mostly cloudy and cold.
That cool air sticks around on Tuesday with a high near 15 degrees in the metro.
The next round of snow arrives on Wednesday. This round looks similar to the system that rolled through overnight Monday, with 1-2 inches of snow possible in the metro, and less south.
Thursday will be a very windy day with temps warming into the low-20s, but it won't feel that way with gusts in the 30-plus-mph range.
The next round of snow arrives late Friday into Saturday. On paper, this one has more potential for accumulating snow, but it is several days out so confidence is low at this point.
Temps will be below average for the most part in the first half of the month.
