WCCO's Mike Max Talks Football, Family With Alex Boone

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota Vikings report to training camp on Thursday in Mankato.
One of the interesting personalities added to this roster is Alex Boone, the offensive tackle they signed from San Francisco. He is driven in part because of the father that walked out on him.
Boone chatted with WCCO's Mike Max about joining the Vikings as a free agent, his new coaching staff, playing in the new U.S. Bank Stadium and how he uses growing up without his father as not only motivation, but a way to be a better father himself.
