Minnesota Twins To Start 2015 Season On The Road

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota Twins will open their season on the road with a three-game stand against the Detroit Tigers followed by three games against the Chicago White Sox.

The games against the Tigers will be played on April 6, 8 and 9, and the White Sox series is scheduled for April 10-12.

After that, the Twins will hold their home opener at Target Field with a series against the Kansas City Royals. The home opener will be on April 13.

The MLB released schedules for the 2015 season on Monday.

According to the MLB, the Twins will play 10 home games in the month of April, 16 in May, 14 in June, 14 in July, 11 in August, 13 in September, and 3 in October.

The schedule includes a three-game series against the Boston Red Sox on Memorial Day weekend, and a weekend series against the New York Yankees on July 24-26.
