MANKATO, Minn. (AP) — Minnesota State has a first-round bye in the NCAA Division II playoffs.

The Mavericks will await the winner of the Pittsburg State-Harding game. The NSIC champions are the second seed in Super Region 3 and will host the second-round game Nov. 29.

On the other side of the bracket, fourth seed Minnesota Duluth will play Northwest Missouri State in the first round Saturday.
