Minnesota School Of Cosmetology Steps Up To Help Regency Students

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Minnesota school is stepping up to help students who were abruptly kicked out of their own school.

The Minnesota School of Cosmetology says it is accepting all hours and credits students earned through programs at Regency Beauty Institute.

The school says they hope to help the students complete their education as seamlessly as possible and are creating a special start date specifically for them.

This comes just days after Regency Beauty Institute suddenly closed all of its 79 locations, including five in Minnesota.

The closure affected 430 local students and thousands nationwide.

The school says declining enrollment played a role in the closing.
