New Minnesota Poll Shows Clinton Ahead Of Trump

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A new poll finds that if the election were held with the current presidential frontrunners, Minnesota would go for Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump.

The new Star Tribune Minnesota Poll shows Clinton getting 48 percent of the likely vote against Trump's 35 percent.

The poll was conducted by telephone and reached 800 of likely Minnesota voters.

However, according to the poll, only 37 percent of voters think Clinton is honest and just 34 percent say Trump is truthful.

The poll shows Trump struggling with younger people and women, but also shows Clinton polling about even with Trump in nine exurban Twin Cities counties.
