Minnesota Orchestra To Perform 'Celebrate Cuba!' Concert

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Minnesota Orchestra is continuing its musical exchange with Cuba.

After performing in Havana in May, the orchestra is holding a "Celebrate Cuba!" concert next month.

Newly appointed assistant conductor Roderick Cox will conduct the program July 5 at Orchestra Hall in downtown Minneapolis.

The program features Coro Entrevoces, a 23-voice Cuban choir. The orchestra will perform symphonic music from and inspired by Cuba as well as share stories and videos from the orchestra's historic trip to Cuba.

Ticket prices range from $25 to $60.
