Minnesota Mom Invents Storytelling Pillow

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - Getting kids to bed on-time without a fuss can be a difficult task.

But one Minnesota mom is hoping to change that with a new invention: a storytelling pillow.

The pillow--called an "Elo"--plays downloaded audiobooks, lullabies, and soothing sounds, but only when the child's head is at rest.

When they lift their head, the audio pauses.

The pillow then prompts them to lay their head back down to hear the rest of the story.

Killian Rieder, the Minnesota mom, said it's made the bedtime process so much easier.

The pillows sell for $150 and are available online--or at a kiosk in the Mall of America.
