Minnesota Medical Marijuana Workers Unionize
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Workers in Minnesota's new medical marijuana industry now have a union.
The United Food and Commercial Workers Union says it has organized employees at Minnesota Medical Solutions, in Ostego, the first facility expected to be open for production.
The UFCW says it's also talking to a second cannabis production facility – LeafLine in Cottage Grove.
July 1 is the first day medical cannabis will be dispensed in Minnesota.
