Man grazed by bullet in Minneapolis' Stevens Square neighborhood, police say

Police at scene of apparent south Minneapolis shooting, and more headlines

Minneapolis police are investigating after a man was grazed by gunfire in the Stevens Square neighborhood Wednesday night.

A ShotSpotter activation and multiple 911 calls brought officers to the 1900 block of Third Avenue South just before 10:40 p.m., the city's police department said.

They found a man with a wound that was not life-threatening. He was taken to a nearby hospital.

Police found evidence of gunfire and are continuing to investigate what led to the shooting. No one has been arrested.
