Community Members Remark On What's Changed (And What Hasn't) Since George Floyd's Murder
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Two years after George Floyd was murdered by a Minneapolis police officer, WCCO-TV asked people in the community on Wednesday to reflect on what's changed -- and what hasn't changed -- since the days of protest and nights of rioting.
While some think that there's been an "awakening" on what needs to change, they said that many things have yet stayed the same. Others still said that they would like to see significant change in the city, including reparations for people of color.
