Mpls. Ranked One Of The Best Cities For Recent Grads

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The class of 2016 is graduating to an improved jobs outlook, so NerdWallet crunched some numbers to figure out the best cities to live after graduation.

Minneapolis placed No. 5 on that list. Arlington, Virginia, was first, followed by Madison, Wisconsin.

Coming in last place was Hialeah, Florida.

The study analyzed the 100 biggest cities in the U.S. and used data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics to score each one.

Minneapolis ranked high because of its affordability and low rent prices.

The study also cited its unemployment rate of 3 percent.

That's well below the national average of 5 percent.
