Minneapolis, St. Paul Public Schools To Close In Anticipation Of Big Snow Storm

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- With more than a half-foot of snow forecasted for Wednesday, Minneapolis and St. Paul public schools have called yet another snow day.

The National Weather Service says snow is expected to fall an inch per hour during the Wednesday morning commute.

This is the fifth time in 2019 that the state's two-largest school districts closed due to either extreme cold and heavy snow.
