MPD: Teen Killed In Hawthorne Neighborhood Shooting

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police say a young man is dead after a shooting in north Minneapolis early Friday evening.
Officers responded around 5:20 p.m. to the intersection of North 30th and Colfax avenues in the Hawthorne neighborhood.
The victim was transported to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.
The Minneapolis Police Department says no one is in custody at this time, but officers are following leads generated at the scene.
