Minneapolis Police, Firefighters Square Off In Battle Of The Badges

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- It was a hot time Saturday at the third annual Battle of the Badges in Minneapolis.

The weather was hot, but so was the barbecue. Minneapolis police officers and firefighters broke out their grills at North Commons Park in a friendly competition to see who has the best barbecue. The Minneapolis Police Department won the competition for the third straight year.

The real winners were the kids and families who made it out to the free event, designed to foster community involvement.
