Minneapolis Police Ask For Help In Severe Beating Case

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minneapolis Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding the person or persons responsible for a woman's severe beating on Thursday.

At 1 a.m. Sunday morning, Minneapolis police officers responded to the report of one down in the area of East Lake Street and 12th Avenue South. There, a woman in her late-20s was found unconscious and suffering from a severe head wound.

The woman remains in critical condition.

Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or send an anonymous tip to CRIMES (274637) and begin message with: TIP674. The case number is 15-332607.

Information that leads to the arrest and conviction of a person in this case might be eligible for a cash reward.
