New Book Chronicle's Minneapolis' Music History

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – There's a new book that documents 35 years of the Minneapolis music scene through vibrant up front and behind-the-scenes pictures.

The book, titled "Heyday: 35 Years Of Music In Minneapolis," features the photography of Daniel Corrigan, both his shots as the official house photographer at First Avenue and his freelance work.

The text and an introductory essay is provided by music journalist Danny Sigelman.

An exhibit for the book, and the launch, will take place at Mill City Museum from 6 – 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16.

For more information on the book, visit the Minnesota Historical Society online.
