Minneapolis Locks To Close In November For The End Of The Navigation Season
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Due to the arrival of winter, the Lower St. Anthony Falls Lock, and Lock and Dam 1 are closing to commercial and recreational vessels in November.
On Monday, the U.S. Corps of Engineers St. Paul District announced Saturday, Nov. 7 as the end of the navigation season.
The Upper St. Anthony Falls lock remains closed. Officials say Locks 2 and south will remain open for now, weather permitting.
