Firefighters rescue person from burning Minneapolis building

The Minneapolis Fire Department says crews rescued a person who may have suffered an overdose amid a building fire overnight Friday just east of downtown.

The fire broke out inside Al-Karama Cedar Square, located off Cedar and Riverside avenues.

The victim was treated by paramedics and their condition is currently unknown, as is the cause of the fire.
