Minn. DNR's EagleCam Goes Live On 'Give To The Max' Day

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Fans of the popular Minnesota DNR EagleCam, rejoice! The live stream is now up.

The DNR says the live stream, which began streaming Thursday, features the same female eagle from last year.

The beginning of the live stream coincides with Give To The Max Day, which helps raise money for nonprofit organizations in a 24-hour period.

While not listed on the Give To The Max's website, the DNR says that the Minnesota Nongame Wildlife Program is dependent on donation, and does not receive general fund – tax dollars – or fees from hunting and fishing license sales. Those who wish to donate to the program can do so here.

Last year, the eagle laid all three eggs by Jan. 25, 2015.

This is the fourth year the DNR's Nongame Wildlife program has streamed live video from a Bald Eagle's nest. The nest is located somewhere in the Twin Cities area.
