Minn. Computers For Schools Providing Tech For Those In Need

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- For nearly 20 years, Minnesota Computers for Schools has been providing technology to low income and disadvantaged students.

Minnesota Computers for Schools takes old technology from businesses when it's being replaced. They then train men at Stillwater Correctional Facility to recycle and refurbish equipment that is then made available to schools and nonprofits across the state.

Minnesota Computers for Schools also has workforce development training programs and the opportunity to Sponsor a Student, helping provide laptops to students across the state.
