Mills Preparing For Possible 2016 Rematch In 8th District, Report Says

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- It looks like a rematch is brewing in Minnesota's 8th Congressional District.

Republican Stewart Mills has formed an exploratory committee, according to the Bemidji Pioneer.

Mills tried to unseat Democratic Congressman Rick Nolan in 2014. It was one of the closest races in the country, with Nolan defeating Mills by less than 4,000 votes.

Mills tells the paper he'll make a formal announcement by mid-October.
