Midwest Pantry Brings Artists, Food Producers Together For Charity

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Local food producers and area artists came together on Sunday to help children in need.

Midwest Pantry helps small food entrepreneurs gain exposure through its art program. The event Sunday paired local food vendors with designers to create a company poster. Those posters went on sale Sunday.

It helps promote local food vendors and raises money for "Free Arts Minnesota," which provides art therapy for children in need.

"We're thinking about taking it to other cities but Minneapolis is our home and we love working with the Minnesota food community," Chad Gillard, the co-founder of Midwest Pantry, said.

Here is how to learn more about Midwest Pantry and to donate.
