Metro Transit: 2 Pedestrians Struck By LRT In Separate Incidents

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Two pedestrians have been struck by light rail trains in separate incidents Monday morning, according to Metro Transit.

According to the Metro Transit, the first incident occurred at the 46th Street Stations, where a cyclist was struck and killed last week. The second occurred a short distance away at the 50th Street Station.

Details are limited, but neither incident appears to be fatal. Trains are running again along the stretch.
