None Hurt After Metro Mobility Van, SUV Collide In Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Authorities say no one was hurt Sunday after a crash involving an SUV and a Metro Mobility van in Minneapolis.

According to Minneapolis police, the crash happened around 7:50 a.m. at the intersection of Golden Valley Road and Irving Avenue.

Officials say both drivers got out of their cars to meet before the driver of the SUV ran away, leaving the car on scene.

According to police, because the SUV was dark tinted, officers broke the windows to make sure no one else was inside. Narcotics were found in the vehicle, police say.

Officials say they have not found the driver of the SUV but do have their vehicle.
