Memorial Service Honors Ham Lake Woman Killed In Bus Crash

CRYSTAL, Minn. (WCCO) -- A Twin Cities church came together on Sunday to remember a young mother who died while vacationing in Jamaica.

Crystal Glewwe, 32 of Ham Lake, was killed in a bus accident. She and her 9-year-old daughter Kayden were on a Caribbean cruise which stopped in Montego Bay. Kayden survived the crash.

On Sunday, people gathered in Coon Rapids for a memorial service to remember Crystal, who was a big part of the Substance Church in Spring Lake Park. The pastor says not only has she been with the church since it began more than a decade ago, but her husband, Rick, is the youth minister.

Crystal leaves behind four children. A memorial fund has been set-up for the Glewwe family.
