Memorial Held For Minnesota Marine Presumed Dead In Helicopter Crash

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A memorial service will be held Friday for a Minnesota Marine presumably killed near Hawaii.

A week ago, two helicopters collided off the coast of Oahu. The crash involved 12 U.S. Marines, including Sergeant Dillon Semolina from Delano.

Earlier this week, the coast guard suspended its search for the Marines.

There have been no signs of survivors.

The Memorial will be held at Marine Corps Base Hawaii Friday. It can viewed online at YouTube.
