Meet Nye's Bartender Phil Barker

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis' legendary Nye's Polonaise Room got a reprieve of sorts Thursday.

The iconic establishment was set to close late this summer or early fall to make way for a high-rise apartment building.

But the outpouring of love from customers will keep it open until at least January of 2016, according to owners Rob and Tony Jacob.
