Fire Damages Tractor In Meeker County
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A tractor in Meeker County sustained $40,000 worth of damage in a fire early Wednesday morning.
According to the Meeker County Sheriff's Office, around 11:45 a.m. officers received a call of a tractor fire on the 51300 block of 170th Street in Danielson Township.
Upon arrival, crews learned some debris from the crops landed on the tractor's exhaust pipe, causing the fire.
The owner, 40-year-old Joshua Barka, was not injured.
The damage to the tractor is roughly $40,000.
